| Whereas | Many people enjoy watching television while they eat or relax; and |
| Whereas | The TV room on the upper level of the University Center is rarely used, dark, and you can't eat up there; and |
| Whereas | During the siege and fire at the Branch Davidian compound in Waco in the spring '93 dozens of students had to stand to watch the news on a TV set put out next to the southwest doors of the U.C.; and |
| Whereas | TV's in the Plaza will further promote campus activities such as EXCEL, and UTA athletics; and |
| Whereas | The Health Center has a TV in its lounge. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | TV's be put in the corners of the eating areas around the Plaza; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | That UTA Today and other campus activities tapes be played periodically. |
