| Whereas | Professors are extremely difficult to contact over the Christmas or summer breaks; and |
| Whereas | Most students must wait until the next semester in order to view final exams; and |
| Whereas | Many students never find out their final exam scores; and |
| Whereas | Students should have the right to review the grades on all academic work that they do in the semester as soon as possible; and |
| Whereas | Official reporting of final exam grades would save the students the time of contacting the professor, and save the professor the time of looking up a grade from the previous semester. |
