Whereas Many students plan their course schedules around which teachers will be teaching their courses; and
Whereas It is in the best interest of a student to register as early as possible to ensure proper class scheduling; and
Whereas Many Colleges and or departments do not post who will teach their courses on the online course listings site.
Be It Further Resolved That Colleges, Schools, and Departments post professor's names on the course offerings website as soon as they know who will teach the class; and
Be It Further Resolved That Colleges, Schools, and Departments make every effort possible to determine which professors will teach which classes before the first day of registration for all students each semester; and
Be It Further Resolved That The Office of Institutional Research and Planning begin collecting data to determine if add/drop rates for courses whose professors are not posted differ from courses that are posted and that the Office of Institutional Research and Planning present their findings within 2 years.
