Remarks FAILED - Too expensive.
Whereas UTA currently does not have a year book; and
Whereas Students at UTA have expressed an interest in a year book; and
Whereas UTA cannot afford a traditional yearbook staff; and
Whereas Dr. Amacher suggested looking at the cost of a year book video and is supportive of the year book video idea; and
Whereas Some colleges (i.e. SMU) use a year book video style for an annual year book; and
Whereas The year book video will be an excellent marketing tool for recruitment.
Be It Further Resolved That Media Services will be in charge of budgeting, developing, editing, marketing, and producing the year book video; and
Be It Further Resolved That A student volunteer committee will help decide what shold be the focus and theme of the year book video; and
Be It Further Resolved That Media Services will gain all profits from the year book video sales.
