| Whereas | UTA recently implemented a Summer Recognition Ceremony to begin honoring summer graduates; and |
| Whereas | The summer recognition ceremony is performed without full academic regalia; and |
| Whereas | It is important for students to be recognized for the great accomplishment that graduation from UTA represents; and |
| Whereas | Many students and parents have echoed their support for a full Summer Commencement Ceremony. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | UTA implement a complete Summer Commencement Ceremony to be conducted in the same manner as the Spring and Fall Commencement Ceremonies. |
