| Whereas | Recyclable newspapers are left lying in nearly every classroom on a daily basis; and |
| Whereas | Recycling will generate revenue which may be given back to the Shorthorn; and |
| Whereas | Recycling cuts down on UTA's contribution to landfills. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | UTA enact a campus-wide recycling program by placing recycling bins beside Shorthorn stands; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The recycling bins be collected by the UTA custodians while collecting trash. |
