Whereas The New Student Delegates are an important part of Student Congress; and
Whereas The New Student Delegates meet in their respective committees, take part in discussion and complete their research assignments; and
Whereas A vote of only Student Congress members is presently taken when voting a resolution out of committee, with the New Student Delegatess not voting; and
Whereas The result of the committee vote is relayed in general session and does not always reflect the feeling of the majority of Student Congress; and
Whereas According to Robert's Rules of Order, only actual members of Student Congress can vote in general session, with New Student Delegates not voting.
Be It Further Resolved That New Student Delegates be given voting priviledges in their respective committees.
