| Remarks | FAILED - University President Amacher cannot support this because of "the added cost of over $26,000 a year". |
| Whereas | The United States Post Office outside the University Community is open six (6) days a week; and |
| Whereas | UTA has a student population who live on campus and not necessarily have transportation off of campus; and |
| Whereas | Mail is a vital part of campus life, i.e. money from parents, special packages, etc. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The UTA Post Office be opened on Saturday mornings from 9am - 12 noon. |
