| Whereas | All the potential income to the University through beer and wine sales is being funneled off campus to local establishments; and |
| Whereas | The average age of students at UTA is 27, well above the legal drinking age; and |
| Whereas | The average student is responsible enough not to get potted before class. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | Beer and wine be available for purchase at the University Center food court during lunch hours; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The old Itza Pizza location be used, along with its adjoining dining area, as the "pub" area; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | Sales be limited to one (1) beer or glass of wine per person purchase (NO PITCHERS). |
