Whereas The college of Military Science tries to use scholarships in order to become more attractive to prospective cadets; and
Whereas Unfortunately, these Army scholarships do not cover room and board; and
Whereas This aspect causes good students to bypass this university for other colleges who offer a "full" package; and
Whereas The university can take steps to make specific areas of its programs more attractive; and
Whereas Brazos House once belonged to the College of Military Science to house cadets when ROTC was a required course at this university; and
Whereas Instituting back this program on this campus on a smaller scale can help this program attract more students without much financial hardship to the university.
Be It Further Resolved That University Housing give 2 Brazos Dorm rooms, with a capacity of 4 students, back to the College of Military Science to align with their present scholarship programs in order to attract the highest quality students.
