| Remarks | FAILED - Police Chief and VP for Campus Operations feel that this would create safety issues with increased traffic. |
| Whereas | UTA Apartments located at the southwest corner of Mitchell and Pecan have no walkways for students to make their way to the campus; and |
| Whereas | There are no pedestrian safety crossings in the street connecting these students to the campus making it very difficult for students living in these facilities to safely make their journey to the campus; and |
| Whereas | The UTA shuttle bus services three apartment buildings around the campus neglecting a route to service these students. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | UTA designate walkways, pedestrian crossings in the street, and light fixtures for these students; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | UTA shuttle bus service creates a shuttle bus waiting area and route that encompasses these students on the Southwest side of the campus. |
