| Remarks | FAILED - In memo dated June 26, 1991, University President Nedderman said that, "it would not be prudent to expand hours of operation." |
| Whereas | Night students have the same allocation of Student Service Fees go to the Health Center; and |
| Whereas | Night students cannot fully utilize the Health Center do to early closing; and |
| Whereas | There is a signifigant portion of UTA students in dormitories, UTA housing, and other housing within a close radius; and |
| Whereas | Health services at a major hospital would much be more expensive in relation to the Health Center. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The Health Centerstay open until the hours of 10:00 pm in order to accomodate these students; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The facility be staffed with at least two (2) persons, either a combination Doctor - nurse or two (2) nurses, or sufficient medical personnel (i.e. student nurses); and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | This shall be in place by the 2nd Monday of the Fall 1991 Semester; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | This shall be done on a trial basis and re-evaluated by the Community Affairs Committee. |
