| Remarks | FAILED - President Spaniolo recommended in a memo dated September 20, 2004 that students "deposit money on their MavExpress cards" as "ARAMARK estimates the cost of an 80 meal plan at $6.50-$7.00 per meal". |
| Whereas | University Housing and Residential Dining Services encourage Students to purchase a meal plan to be used at Connections Caf' each semester; and |
| Whereas | Each meal plan for the spring and fall semesters provides for an allotment of 160-280 meals per semester; and |
| Whereas | There is a large population of students attending school during the lunch hours or dinner hours; and |
| Whereas | These students may like to eat a meal other than what is offered in the Food Court; and |
| Whereas | In order to eat in the Connections Caf' during that time you must pay each time you go. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | University Housing and Residential Dining Services create a meal plan that would give students one meal a day, Monday through Friday, for a total of 80 meals a semester; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | This meal be allowed to be used for one breakfast, lunch, or dinner a day for use at the Connections Caf'. |
