Remarks | FAILED. Killed because there are already avenues for non-traditional students to address needs. |
Whereas | Non-traditional students constitute a large part of our student population at the University of Texas at Arlington; and |
Whereas | Non-traditional students tend to have special needs that need to be addresses by the university (child care, affordable housing, balancing school and work); and |
Whereas | Many universities have non-traditional educational programs in order to ease the burden of working full time and going to school. |
Be It Further Resolved That | The University of Texas at Arlington form a committee consisting of non-traditional students, faculty, and staff in order to address the concerns of non-traditional students. |
