| Whereas | One of the many strengths of the University of Texas at Arlington is its openness to diversity in religion, cultures, and ideas; and |
| Whereas | Due to the recent Hall of Flags issue, the idea of celebrating campus diversity has caused strife amongst the UTA student body and the administration. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The University of Texas at Arlington form an International Student Advisory Council consisting of the Student Congress President and UTA campus leaders in order to strengthen the ties between international students and the university. |
