| Whereas | UT Arlington does not offer any form of recognition for these elected student leaders, consisting of: UTA Ambassadors, Student Congress Members and Student Service Fee Advisory Committee members, during graduation ceremonies; and |
| Whereas | These elected student leaders are the representatives of the UT Arlington student body and put in endless hours of hard work, service, and dedication to help better UT Arlington. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | These Student leaders receive recognition during graduation ceremonies via a cord/sash/medallion as seen fit by UT Arlington and the administration. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The Student leader only receives the designated form of leadership recognition at graduation if they abide by all the rules and regulations designated for their leadership position; this includes but is not limited to rules regarding attendance, participation hours, and professional conduct to be verified by the appropriate advisor. |
