| Remarks | FAILED - Cost is $432/hour to keep Health Center open. Few students use the services on Saturday. |
| Whereas | The University of Texas at Arlington is becoming more and more of a traditional campus; and |
| Whereas | There is an increasing number of students that live on campus, and spend the weekends here; and |
| Whereas | All the students pay a Health Center fee that gives them free doctor visitations as well as other discounted services; and |
| Whereas | There is a large number of International students who live nearby, and are required to purchase Mega Life Insurance (UT system wide); and |
| Whereas | These students as well as others might have emergencies or need to see a doctor on weekends. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The Health Center be opened on Sunday afternoons with a skeleton crew and limited hours of operation determined by the Health Center administration; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | There be an increase of hours of operation on Saturdays. |
