Remarks The University already has designated areas for University and construction vehicles.
Whereas Students with disabilities are often informed of campus construction to allow them to modify their routes from building to building; and
Whereas Students with wheelchairs or vision-impaired are not able to expect or easily maneuver around the large parked vehicles; and
Whereas This becomes a safety hazard to students with disabilities
Be It Further Resolved That University and subcontractor vehicles not be allowed to park in access paths, main thorough fairs, or in front of curb cut outs.
Be It Further Resolved That Subcontractors hired by the university be informed of UTA parking rules and regulations and be held to the same standards as university vehicles.
Be It Further Resolved That The university designate specific areas within the campus that university and subcontractor vehicles can park in to effectively do their work without affecting the safety of students.
Be It Further Resolved That All university vehicles have 'How is my driving?' stickers placed on the bumpers.
