Remarks
Whereas The University Center has some of the most concentrated pedestrian traffic on campus; and
Whereas The University Center serves the primary informal meeting place for many students, including our over 300 student organizations; and
Whereas The University Center frequently hosts special events for members of the UT Arlington and Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex communities; and
Whereas The University Center houses many administrative offices and student services, including most divisions of Student Affairs such as: Apartment and Residence Life, Multicultural Affairs, Office of Student Conduct, New Maverick Orientation, Parent and Family Center, Student Legal Services, Campus Activity and Community Programs, Student Governance and Organizations, and Student Publications.
Be It Further Resolved That The UT Arlington Administration incorporates into the Master Plan/University Center facelift the painting of the walls within the University Center on the main level in UT Arlington's colors (blue, orange, and white) to reflect Maverick pride and school spirit.
