| Remarks | It's not mathematically possible because there are not enough seats in Texas Hall. Also, if students were able to use their MAV IDs, there would be less room for family and friends of graduating seniors. |
| Whereas | The University distributes seven commencement ceremony tickets per graduating senior to invite their family and friends; and |
| Whereas | Enrolled UT-Arlington students are no longer allowed to utilize student ID's as admittance to commencement ceremonies; and |
| Whereas | Children over the age of two are required to have a ticket for commencement ceremonies. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The University supply 12 commencement ceremony tickets per graduating seniors to invite their family and friends; and |
