| Whereas | Each student receives a printing quota upon enrollment in the University; and |
| Whereas | Most students only spend a fraction of the approximately $100 that is loaded on the My Mav Card each semester; and |
| Whereas | The remaining balance at the end of the semester is "lost" if not used. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The money for the printing quota either be redeemable at other locations on campus such as the University stores (for food or other supplies) or refunded back to the student at the end of the semester. |
