Remarks Ackowledging our students accomplishments is important. We will ask the Provost Office to cosnider the resolution for future implementations.
Whereas Students spending years working hard to graduate with honors should be guaranteed proper acknowledgment of their achievements; and
Whereas UTA does not distinguish between the three levels of graduation honors (Magna Cum Laude, Summa Cum Laude or Cum Laude); and
Whereas Most universities offer students three levels of honors cords based upon their level of honors achievements.
Be It Further Resolved That UTA provides three levels of honors cords available to students graduating with honors that properly distinguish their level of accomplishment.
