| Whereas | There is a depressed section of roadway that is a part of Cooper Street, F.M. 157, running through UT Arlington; and |
| Whereas | There are bare concrete retaining walls on each side of the road; and |
| Whereas | Organizations paying to have space on the retaining walls is a good fundraiser for the university. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The University of Texas at Arlington obtains permission from TxDOT to paint murals on the Cooper Street retaining walls; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | Organizations be permitted to purchase space on the wall and paint appropriate images displaying school spirit; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | There be several options for purchasing space on the retaining walls ranging from small, cheap areas to larger, more expensive areas. |
