Remarks
Whereas No one is allowed inside of the Central Library after 12:00 am unless they are in possession of their MAV ID; and
Whereas Students occasionally forget their ID at critical moments are therefore cut off from the academic resources provided by the library that they need to succeed in a rigorous college environment; and
Whereas Incidents such as these have been a source of conflict in the past by those students that are unwilling to leave quietly; and
Whereas These students should be presented with an alternative method to gain access to the Central Library.
Be It Further Resolved That The Central Library adopt a fingerprint scanner based check-in system similar to the Maverick Activities Center.
