| Whereas | UT Arlington is known for having a diverse student population, and we pride ourselves on the campus' cultural diversity; |
| Whereas | Cultural organizations on campus do not have a place or platform to display their heritage; |
| Whereas | International students should be able to display their national pride. |
| Whereas | The current campus culture should allow students and the administration to come to a peaceful agreement regarding the current ban of flags, symbols, and national seals of countries outside the U.S. |
