| Whereas | Finding convenient parking is still a problem at the University of Texas at Arlington, similar to other universities; |
| Whereas | Gas prices have continued to be on the rise; |
| Whereas | There would be a reduction in the amount of automobile emissions from commuter students driving to campus everyday, if mass transportation was provided; |
