| Whereas | Wal-Mart offers a selection of quality goods and services at a low price, provide a reliable online shopping, features many money saving policies such as ad-match guarantee, and now offers layaway for the upcoming holiday season; and |
| Whereas | Students, faculty, and staff with no personal form of transportation miss out on the oppurtunity to save more money by personally shopping at a Wal-Mart location or choosing the ship to store options for purchases made online; and |
| Whereas | A large number of concern has been expressed by the UTA community over the exclusion of Wal-Mart from the Mav Mover shuttle route, which provides campus transportation to Parks Mall, Target, and ALDI; and |
| Whereas | The Wal-Mart location at 4801 South Cooper Street is of close proximity to the designated route of the Mav Mover shuttle; |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The Transportation Department at the University of Texas at Arlington consider the wishes of the university community and implement the South Cooper Wal-Mart location into the Mav Mover shuttle route schedule. |
