| Remarks | Implemented - Faculty/staff will be asked to fill out a form known as the Vehicle Access Form that can be found on the University Police Department website. The rules on the form state that all loading/unloading on UTA malls be completed before 11AM and after 2PM. |
| Whereas | With an increase in student population, campus walkways have become more congested. |
| Whereas | Vehicles on campus are only making congestion worse. |
| Whereas | The University of Texas at Arlington is transforming into a traditional, residental campus. |
| Whereas | Having numerous vehicles on campus can be dangerous and is an unpleasant sight. |
| Whereas | There are streets and adjacent parking lots for these vehicles to park. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | No vehicles be allowed on campus walkways between 11AM and 2PM, Monday through Friday. |
