| Whereas | UTA has a convenience store inside the MAC, Engineering Research Building, and the University Center. |
| Whereas | The Central Library has vending machines, but does not have a huge selection of food and drinks and other items students need. |
| Whereas | The Central Library is one of the main hotspots where students hang out and study and not everyone has cash in their pockets. |
| Whereas | The Central Library has a Starbucks and could possibly be integrated with a POD Express Store. |
