| Whereas | Many students at UTA bring their meals from home and at times need to microwave heat the food; and |
| Whereas | There are a limited number of on campus microwaves for use by the general student body; and |
| Whereas | Many colleges do not have a public microwave for the use of the general student body. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | Public microwaves are provided for every college at UTA; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | Additional microwaves be provided in high-traffic areas as the University Center and the Activities Building. |
