| Whereas | The University Center offers rooms for student purposes during the academic term; and |
| Whereas | During finals week, there is a limited space in the Central library due to the amount of students seeking a sound environment to study; and |
| Whereas | During normal fall and spring academic semesters, the University Center's hours of operations are listed as 7 AM through 11 PM; and |
| Whereas | The University Center does not currently extend its hours for finals week to accommodate students' late night study schedules; |

| Be It Further Resolved That | The University Center seek to extend its hours of operations from 7 AM through 11 PM to 7 AM through 3 AM, to allow students ample space to study. |
