| Whereas | University housing has decided to increase rent at Timberbrook in order to pay for furnishing units; and |
| Whereas | Students who live within the university community housing may already have furniture for their apartment and may not want to take on an unneeded expense; and |
| Whereas | The students not wishing to furnish their apartments or pay the unnecessary expense are forced to switch residencies at an inopportune time; and |
| Be It Further Resolved That | Future residents renewing leases who moved in with the intentions of furnishing their own apartment not be required to have their apartment furnished by housing and not pay any additional fees associated with furnishing. |
