| Whereas | The University Health Center is closed on weekends, causing an inconvenience to students living on campus, especially international students; and |
| Whereas | Many international students are required to pay for the University Health Insurance Plan, and do not have access to on campus medical care on weekends; |
| Whereas | On-campus and international students may not have cars or the means to travel to an off-campus location to seek medical care; |
| Whereas | On-campus and international students would benefit from the University Health Center extending hours of operations to weekends; |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The University Health Center at UT Arlington have hours of operations on weekends, and or provide a health hotline 24/7 to tend to students's health concerns. |
