Whereas | Students in previous years were verbally recognized for Latin Honors during Commencement Ceremony; and |
Whereas | The university has gone away with this recognition within the past year; and |
Whereas | These students receiving these honors have maintained a high standard for their grade point average throughout the entirety of their college experience; |
Whereas | This form of recognition encourages students to strive towards academic excellence; and |
Be It Further Resolved That | These students receive verbal recognition for their hard work and determination to maintain high, academic standards during the Fall and Spring commencement ceremonies. |
