| Remarks | The SECC has been coordinating with the director of the A&P Labs to schedule extra hours during the week and weekend when the lab practical exams are scheduled |
| Whereas | UTA has one of the best Nursing programs in the nation; and |
| Whereas | All nursing students, and many other non-nursing students, are required to take A&P 1 and A&P 2 as part of their prerequisites; and |
| Whereas | These classes' labs include two lab practicals worth over half their lab grade throughout the semester; and |
| Whereas | Many students have access to models of the bones, muscles, organs, etc in the Science Education and Career Center (SECC) to study for their practical; and |
| Whereas | The SECC has limited hours of operation during the weekend; and |
| Whereas | This leads to congestion in the room during the week , and with limited models many students are waiting an hour for their turn to check out a model. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The SECC extends its hours of operation two times a semester on the weekends of lab practical week. |
