| Whereas | In recent years, the university has gone away with providing television programming in the plaza and cafe area; and |
| Whereas | Students don't have access to a TV news source on campus, while waiting for class, on campus; and |
| Whereas | Students need to stay up to date on local and national news. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The University of Texas at Arlington seek measures to establish a system to provide students with up to date news, on a regular basis, in the common areas of the University Center (Plaza, Cafe, etc). |
