| Whereas | The University of Texas at Arlington's Online University Catalog is not up to date with regards to classes the university offers. |
| Whereas | This might confuse students when planning their schedules when they are told by their advisers that a specific class is not offered. |
| Whereas | This can create problems for students who wish to graduate ahead of schedule or on time. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The University of Texas at Arlington updates its University Catalog to correctly reflect which courses are actually offered and when,on the university catalog webpage underneath each course subject heading, seek the means to have a disclaimer similar to, “Course offerings are subject to instructor availability per semester. Not every course listed is offered every semester. If you have questions, please contact your academic adviser.â€. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The University of Texas at Arlington require each academic department to update the “typically offered†column found on MyMav browse course catalog section at the beginning of every semester so that students are better informed about which courses they can take. |
