| Remarks | Amended in committee on 10/18 Committee felt that based on the research, implementing such system where UTA partners up with private banks would put a considerable amount of fees on the student organizations that small organizations might not be able to pay. |
| Whereas | Registered student organizations may utilize a university cost center through the Office of Student Accounts to manage their funds; and |
| Whereas | Events student organizations want to host are dependent on the funds available in those accounts; and |
| Whereas | The Office of Student Accounts is not convenient to get access in order to view the available budget in the account and can be a hassle to determine the available balance. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | UTA partners with a local or a national bank to provide all banking services that the bank has to offer to the organizations |
