| Remarks | President Karbhari said that the student organization space will be considered in the building plans. |
| Whereas | The University of Texas at Arlington has over 300+ active organizations on campus; and |
| Whereas | these organizations hold several events on campus a year and might use the same props (ie. organization banner, tents, posters, etc.) for each event; and |
| Whereas | there is no place on campus for student organizations to store their materials, leaving them to be stored and scattered amongst the EXEC members whom might not have much storage room- causing inconvenience and an increased chance of losing some materials; and |
| Whereas | other UT system universities provide storage space for their students which could enhance student life. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The University of Texas at Arlington should consider providing storage areas for organizations whom wish to store their materials on campus in the the new buildings being built. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The University of Texas at Arlington add a social space lounge for student organizations in the new buildings being built on campus to encourage collaboration. |
