Remarks FAILED - There is only a seasonal need for more Ambassadors.
Whereas The Ambassadors program at UTA represents students to the best of each member's abilities, educates & increases awareness of services, programs, and activities, and encourages and strengthens a sense of community at UTA; and
Whereas The group can have no more than 18 Ambassadors, Mr. UTA and Ms. UTA; and
Whereas The University has experienced a steady increase in enrollment for the last few years; and
Whereas The Ambassadors have performed very well, despite the small size of their group at a large University; and
Whereas Many other Ambassadors programs at Universities the size of UTA are two, three, and even four times the size of the UTA Ambassadors.
Be It Further Resolved That That the Ambassadors, excluding Mr. & Ms. UTA, be changes so that the number of the group represent 1000 students for each Ambassador; and
Be It Further Resolved That That this take affect during the current semester.
