Whereas | UTA offers academic scholarships to many incoming freshman and transfer students; and |
Whereas | Many students finish their degree program in less than four(4) years (for incoming freshmen) or less than three (3) years (for incoming transfers) and decide to attain a higher level degree at UTA after that; and |
Whereas | Thus by graduating early, the student is unable to have the benefit of the remaining portion of their academic scholarship; |
Be It Further Resolved That | Students who have received a renewable academic scholarship for their undergraduate degree and graduate early are able to utilize the remaining portion of the scholarship toward their graduate degree. |
