| Remarks | The Student Senate feels that this resolution will benefit students who utilize our facilities greatly as they will be made more aware of this resource that facilities provides. Additionally, having these signs will encourage students and other members of the UTA community to report any problems with the restrooms on campus ensuring the restroom will be maintained. |
| Whereas | Bathrooms at the University of Texas at Arlington are maintained in a scheduled manner; and |
| Whereas | Sometimes bathrooms at UTA become dirty; simple maintenance issues like running out of paper towels sometimes occurs or paper towel dispensers become dysfunctional; and |
| Whereas | This leads to student frustrations over running out of materials, for example having no soap in the soap dispensers or no paper towels. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The University of Texas at Arlington takes steps to advertise its work order website and phone number in all bathrooms before Fall 2019 so that faculty, staff, and students can report such issues. |
