| Remarks | The Student Senate feels this resolution will benefit not only students but the university as well. The drop survey could provide information pertinent to retention rates, how academic departments are run, and help understand the demographic of UTA students and what works for them. |
| Whereas | Students often drop classes they do not feel confident in; and |
| Whereas | Students are not offered a forum to voice their reasoning for dropping a class; and |
| Whereas | Professors rely on student feedback to adapt and improve their courses. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | UTA look into establishing a drop survey system. |
