| Remarks | The Student Affairs committee felt that this resolution was not necessary as students are able to get free ice from the UC Plaza, Einstein Bros., and UC Starbucks. |
| Whereas | Many students carry water bottles with them throughout the day on campus, which cuts down campus waste; and |
| Whereas | Fountain water can vary in temperature depending on the fountain; and |
| Whereas | Many people enjoy adding ice to their beverage to keep it cool. |
