| Remarks | The Student Affairs committee felt that this resolution was not a priority to students at this time. Student would need to replace their cards if they were to change majors, and this could end up being very costly. |
| Whereas | Students at University of Texas of Arlington have to get identification cards and the ID card only shows student's name, ID number and date issued; and |
| Whereas | Some colleges at UTA allow only the student of that college in the building after certain hours; and |
| Whereas | Some events are only for the students of that college/major; and |
| Whereas | It is very hard to identify which students belong to which college. |
