| Remarks | The Student Senate did not believe overall this resolution was necessary. We already have wall mounted hair dryers in shower areas, and we have areas where students may bring their own hand held dryers for use. |
| Whereas | The Maverick Activities Center has locker rooms for students to use; and |
| Whereas | Many students take advantage of the showers provided; and |
| Whereas | There is currently no way for students to dry their hair, aside from a towel, with amenities offered by the MAC; and |
| Whereas | Carrying a blow dryer around campus is inconvenient and having wet hair is a health hazard. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | The Maverick Activity Center install hand held dryers in it's locker rooms. |
