| Whereas | Many students can find the process of moving into the resident halls a very tedious and time consuming; and |
| Whereas | Traditionally the residents halls on campus open the Fridays or Saturday before classes and give residents two days to officially move in; and |
| Whereas | Many students wish there was more time to move into the resident halls on campus before classes start; and |
| Whereas | Resident assistants and hall staff are present in the resident hall a week before classes begin. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | Students be allowed to move in the Thursday before the start of school in the Fall and Spring semesters. |
