Whereas | In the UNIV-NU-1131 class, freshmen students are presented with the opportunity to visit the University of Texas at Arlington’s Smart Hospital to familiarize themselves with the facilities, equipment, and overall layout of their future place of study; and |
Whereas | Accelerated online nursing students who are not able to attend any of the available tours on campus due to personal complications but want to tour the facilities should be given the opportunity to come on campus on a predetermined day and be escorted around the Smart Hospital. |
Be It Further Resolved That | The University of Texas at Arlington offers accelerated online students two designated tours of the Smart Hospital in an academic semester. Tours will be given when the Smart Hospital is not being utilized by on-campus students. |
