Whereas According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the “labor union” is “a group of two or more employees who join together to advance common interests such as wages, benefits, schedules and other employment terms and conditions,” and
Whereas According to many credible analyses, the U.S. and the State of Texas are undergoing labor, wage, and inflation crises; and
Whereas Said crises may encourage workers and staff to create or join unions; and
Whereas While the right to unionize is protected under federal law, many organizations force loopholes to practice “union busting,” and
Be It Further Resolved That Administrators at The University of Texas at Arlington sign a written pledge to work with Unions and refrain from practicing “union-busting.”
