| Remarks | FAILED - It would be difficult to implement, it lowers security, and it would only affect about 1% of students. |
| Whereas | Students are forced to leave the Central Library when they cannot present their Mav Express card after midnight; and |
| Whereas | Students pay library fees for the use of this facility; and |
| Whereas | There are other means to still ensure the safety of students without using only Max Express cards; and |
| Whereas | To enter the Activities Building students are allowed to provide their Student ID Number and show an alternate form of identification when they cannot present their Mav Express card. |
| Be It Further Resolved That | There should be a way for students to remain in the Central Library after midnight when they have a form of picture identification and can provide their Student ID Number but do not have their Max Express card. |
